After spending the last decade in the I.T. and Tech Support field, I decided it was time to pursue something I am truly passionate about, DOGS! I fell in love with dog training after I got my first dog Riley 15 years ago. I took Riley through basic obedience classes and was absolutely hooked on the experience.
Since then I have fostered over a dozen dogs, with an eye to solve lingering behavior issues and adopt them out to a new forever home. All 3 of my current dogs are foster fails! Over the last 15 years I have spent time with multiple dog and animal rescue foundations, including Haven Dog Rescue, Placer SPCA and Tony LaRussa’s Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF).
I have also worked as a dog walker and I have previous experience with positive reinforcement training. My goal with Sit Happens Dog Training is to do everything in my power to improve your in and out of home experience with your best friend, and help you build a relationship with excellent communication and trust!
