We had our final training at Deck the Chairs. When I say we, I really mean both my husband and I as well as our beautiful Newfypoo. We moved to North Florida this summer and our first hurricane evacuation scare was Dorian. My biggest concern was Andie. She was 18 months and 80 pounds. Most of the time she is mellow and calm but sometimes the puppy zoomies would strike and she would be wild. I couldn’t help but worry about an evacuation trip and the additional stress of keeping her under control for her safety.

Then we found Danny.

He is wonderful with dogs and with us people as well. Our final training was the beach to make sure that Andie could behave with distractions. What a success! The celebration, the lights, the kids, the dogs, the ocean. And, guess what, Andie handled all of them like a champ. She can have all of those distractions and be off leash and not miss a beat. Danny makes sure that she knows how to work and knows when she is free to play. And best of all, he taught us how to be confident with her. We are so grateful! Thanks from all of us.
