Camo

Camo, a 5-year-old coon hound, came to Sit Happens with some background in basic obedience after taking some group classes. However, the skills he and his owner learned in group classes were not crossing over into home life. Camo had some trouble with impulse control, especially when it came to food. He loved to grab himself a snack off the counter if the opportunity arose. Having multiple dogs, Camo’s mom needed some help getting his counter surfing and impulses under control. She also wanted to be able to take Camo on walks without having to worry about him taking off after a squirrel or other distractions. 

With Sit Happens's 7-day board and train program, Camo learned way more than impulse control. We were able give him the structure he needed to thrive. The “tricks” he learned in group classes became commands he understood in any circumstance inside and outside of the house. Now Camo’s mom can enjoy a meal without his nose in it. They can also go on walks with their other dog and not worry about Camo taking off after anything.
